As a provider of assistance to community groups, our primary purpose is to strengthen participation of people to prevent and solve environmental health problems. Since its inception in 1998, we have assisted more than 140 community-based groups in 95 of the 156 Georgia counties to organize for changes that safeguard their community. ECO-Action provides several services aimed at making communities more aware and proactive about their environmental health. Depending on the level of urgency and the level of awareness in each community, we have several different options that will help concerned groups of individuals achieve their goals.
