Breast Cancer Action At Breast Cancer Action
We talk about breast cancer as the disease that it is – a disease that has environmental causes, a disease that kills more women of color than white women, and when it comes to device and drug approval at the FDA, a disease that is dominated by the pharmaceutical industry and not patients.

is emerging as one of the most significant community-based, public foundations in the United States.

helping to move people and places out of poverty.

The Ben & Jerry’s Foundation is to make the world a better place by empowering Ben & Jerry’s employees to use available resources to support and encourage organizations that are working towards eliminating the underlying causes of environmental and social problems.

 The Public Welfare Foundation supports efforts to ensure fundamental rights and opportunities for people in need. We look for carefully defined points where our funds can make a difference in bringing about systemic changes that can improve the lives of countless people.

Now on PBS
(w/Bill Moyers special) This Emmy-winning PBS weekly newsmagazine engages viewers with documentary segments and insightful interviews that probe the most important issues facing democracy, including media policy, corporate accountability, civil liberties, the environment, politics, social responsibility, and foreign affairs. The website also provides special materials to allow teachers to use these films as lesson plan skill-building materials.
