Hailing from Nigeria, Olorunfemi “Femi” Adeyemo embarked on his academic journey at Georgia State University in December 2021, driven by a passion for environmental stewardship. His dedication to the environment propelled him to pursue a Masters of Geoscience, a milestone he achieved in December 2023.
During his final semester of graduate school, Femi‘s commitment to environmental action led him to Environmental Community Action in August 2023, where he served as a research assistant. Demonstrating remarkable dedication and expertise, Femi swiftly progressed from research assistant to program manager, now spearheading the AWLN program.
In his leisure time, Femi finds solace in watching soccer. However, his true fulfillment lies in giving back to communities through international and local outreach programs that he passionately leads, embodying his unwavering commitment to environmental advocacy and community empowerment.”
